Step 1: Applicaton

If you are interested in meeting a resident, an approved application must be on file beforehand. If you are undecided about which animal you would like to apply for, you may enter “pre-approval” or the breed you’re interested in on the application and we will help match you.

Step 2:
Meet and greet

After an approved application has been accepted and you’re ready to meet your potential adoptee, the next step is the meet and greet! While photos can provide a wonderful glimpse into a dog’s personality, we want to make sure you feel that connection in person and are confident it will be the best match for both of you.

Step 3:
adoption

ADOPTION! If your application has been approved, you have had your meet and greet with your potential adoptable, and you feel you will give him/her their loving home, next is the adoption paperwork! This is a short process, but ends with you going home with your new best friend! All medical paperwork will be transferred over to you, and copies kept with us incase needed. ALL dogs will go to their new homes with up to date vaccinations for Distemper, Parvovirus, Bordetella and Rabies (Rabies vaccination is done at 4 months and older). ALL dogs will receive a certified vet inspection (CVI) performed within 30 days before adoption. ALL dogs will be given preventatives for fleas, ticks, and worms. ALL dogs will be microchipped. ALL adult dogs will be spayed or neutered prior to adoption. If adopting a puppy, the spay/neuter cost is the responsibility of the new owners. ALL dogs will have a 4DX/Heartworm test if 6 months and older. But most importantly, ALL DOGS WILL BE ETERNALLY GRATEFUL!
